Political Campaign on Social Media

The present report analyzes main trends in the social media field in Georgia from September 1 to November 21, 2020. In particular, it outlines activity of official pages of political parties and candidates registered for the elections and official pages of local self-government bodies, summarizes results of monitoring unofficial anonymous pages operating for political purposes and other important trends aimed at influencing will of voters in one way or another.

The present social media monitoring mostly entails findings of Facebook monitoring but it also includes findings of monitoring other social media platforms like Instagram, Tik-Tok and Telegram.
