Project objectives:
The overall purpose of the project is to prevent and mitigate politically motivated discrimination/firing and support media freedom and freedom of expression.
Project activities:
ISFED will assist politically fired/discriminated public employees in the central, urban and rural areas of Georgia. In the framework of the project, we will protect media freedom and freedom of expression by strategic litigation cases against journalists/media outlets, also we will raise awareness regarding journalist rights and workplace discrimination and advocate for effective implementation of best practices in media freedom and depoliticized public sector.
