In recent years, social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok have become powerful tools for political actors seeking to influence public opinion. To shape attitudes and perceptions, these actors employ a variety of tactics, methods, and narratives. The role of social media in electoral processes has grown significantly, making it nearly impossible to understand political developments without monitoring social media campaigns. In countries like Georgia, and elsewhere, the use of sexist narratives to discredit women involved in social and political life is widespread.
